don DeLio Emmanuel Mir trained with the Tansky Design firm
in Philadelphia and Parke-Bernett in New York City. DeLio Interiors
was formed in 1969 in Philadelphia, specializing
in custom made interiors, window fashions, and complete interior design,
including historical homes in 18th and 19th century settings using his extensive
experience on classical interiors befitting modern transitional settings.
Over twenty-five years of professional period
renovation-reproduction-reconstruction and design (interior). Serving as
researcher and manufacturer. Basic and extended knowledge of the
CLASSICAL REVIVAL AND FRENCH-ITALIAN INTERIORS OF THE 17th AND 18th
CENTURIES.
Worked with other professionals like Mr.
Henry Howes III from Parke-Bernett in New York; (present) Sotheby's of London;
Professor Aleandro del Buffalo in Rome; on the Palazzo Ca 'Rezzonica, Venice,
where he learned much in his apprenticeship.
He has written a book, "INTERIOR
DESIGN", on interiors of Motor
Yachts
